Patagoniazone - Magic Tourism - Fly Fishing

PATAGONIAZONE is a company of extreme adventure tourism in the Chilean Patagonia. The main partners, Chileans, with a big ecological culture and professionalism in each one of our areas, offer excellence in adventure tours service, sport fishing and travel adventure to San Rafael Lagoon.
Important to mention our seriousness and experience as yacht captain, sailing and in scientific expeditions, what positions us in high standards of quality in service and security.

PATAGONIAZONE human group is an association of nature lovers, its study, promotion and defense.
Coming from different disctrits of Chile, with diverse professions, we have had active participation in defense of a natural sanctuary (www.accionporloscisnes.org) that was seriously affected by toxic waste of a fiber pulp company producer, in Valdivia city, X District of Chile.
This tourism project to show the natural marvels that there are in The Chilean Patagonia.

Enjoy nature and pristine places it is part of my life from very young. Educated in the respect and care of the nature, I remember with passion and happiness those long walks with my grandparents or my parents in search of the knowledge and the adventure… it was this way that from my adolescent youth, already 16 years ago, I began to work in natural tourism; first as rafting guide and then like naturalistic guide in The Chilean Patagonia.

Diving and sailing for all my life, I have had the luck to know and to travel The Chilean Patagonia in almost all their extension, being able to appreciate it with the eye of a naturalistic guide and later with the eye of a scientist, knowing this way what there are over and under the surface of the water.

Finally some years ago, in conservationist activities and in defense of nature, I met Daniel, with whom we decide to form PATAGONIAZONE, a company dedicated to extreme tourism, enphazising excellence in service, knowledge and respect of the environment, bringing the adventurer to the nature, promoting care and admiration for the life in all their _expression.

After 20 years of exercising like veterinarian, the emotion I feel when I see a wounded animal, victim of the abandonment, or human abuse, or the polluting industry it is the same as when I was a child and knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to care and protection of the animals, changing this passion into my profession.

That same emotion is the one that feel every time when I travel by Chilean Patagonia, to see so much natural beauty, even free of human intervention: penguins, sea lions, whales, the great blue whale, chucaos, albatross, petrels, woodpeckers, pumas, pudus, sea and river otters, dolphins that rollick around the yacht and much more... But I knew that I lacked of something and it was that we cannot care what we not known it; this is the reason that drives me to join Alberto and create this company, and work to share with other adventurers the emotions that we feel livinge the virgin nature, the marvels of The Patagonia, so we will be more people every day protecting nature that harbors us together and it gives the life, and by this way become aware that we must preserve our planet for the future generations.

For my profession I have always been bound to the forms and colors. The chromatic ranges have always been my faithful partners… accustomed to a world full with textures, markers and shades. With a wide visual culture of the harmony and the composition, during my first years of graphic designer traveled to Chiloe in inspiration search…

The magical Patagonia taught me: landscapes of infinite visual field, dozens of tonalities of greens converging in yellow, transparent shines of water and light… textures and wood macerated in the time… next to a flora and fauna within reach of the lens of any traveling camera. Sail this area for the first time, know their people and their legends was a highly enriching experience.

In the Chilean Patagonia everything seems to be within reach of our hand… adventurers become enchanted with the landscape, natural thermal baths, ice, walks, volcanoes. The romantic can dream awake... and the dreamer find the peace and the encouragement to continue with their ideals.

I believe that these words argue, enough why I involved myself in PATAGONIAZONE and all their projects.
